According to the Hollywood Reporter, Beau Bridges -who most recently played Major General Hank Landry in the two Stargate SG-1 DVD movies: The Ark of Truth and Continuum- has signed up for a role in the upcoming Max Payne movie.

Bridges will be playing the role of B.B. Hensley, “a former cop and mentor figure to Max Payne, who helps him track down a cunning, ruthless killer.”

The news follows recent confirmation that Mila Kunis (That 70s Show) will be starring in the film as an assassin who allies herself with Payne in order to avenge her sister's death.
