Promising a wealth of new features, and an improved UI.


Jeff Chausse, a Web Director over at Harmonix, recently posted on Rock Band's official forums  to confirm that the company's web team has been working on a “major overhaul” of the site to celebrate the launch of Rock Band 2.

New features will include a detailed track listing that covers every song available either at retail and via digital download, as well as a new blog - containing of interviews, DLC announcements, and contests - called The 'Zine.

Daily and weekly tournaments will join Photocreator, an online tool which “lets you pose and shoot photos of your Rock Band 2 characters and bands,” and a Merch Booth to print T-shirts, stickers, etc. that feature said photos.

Additional features will include the Bandmate Creator, which allows visitors to purchase a 3D, 6” tall statue of their custom character for $70, and a streamlined user interface and navigation system.
